This website is designed with accessibility in mind and targets WCAG 2.2 AA practices. It has not been certified as compliant by an external auditor.
What’s implemented
- Semantic heading structure on every page
- Keyboard-accessible navigation, including the mobile menu
- Visible focus states, matched to the background they appear on
- Focus trapping and restoration in the mobile menu and the gallery lightbox
- Reduced-motion support, honouring your device/browser setting
- Form labels on every field, with an error summary and inline errors on the booking form
- Colour-contrast corrections verified against the site's actual colour combinations
- An alternative-text architecture for every image, including development placeholders
- Responsive layouts from small phones to large desktop screens
- Content that remains available without animation or JavaScript, outside interactive forms
Known limitations
- Genuine property photographs, and their final descriptive alternative text, are still pending — see the photography checklist.
- Some accommodation details (bed configuration, bathroom type per room, and others) remain pending client confirmation and are not yet published.
- Third-party services linked from this site (for example, Google Maps) have their own accessibility characteristics, outside this website's control.
